I must admit that I am blessed with great genes. That is the reason why I have never tried tortured my body with those wild fad diets. I believe, eating right and living healthy is a key to attain perfect figure. Moreover, I love exercising in the gym and practice yoga regularly to streamline my body. Plus, a lot of dance practise keeps me in shape. I never worked out so hard before I had my baby. I only danced to remain in curvaceous figure. For me dance is a great way to reduce weight. On the other hand to keep my skin gorgeous, I am very specific about my beauty routine. I completely trust on mild and regular cleansing, but I keep away from facials. I consistently perform my three-step process of cleansing, toning and moisturising. I also go under intraceutical treatments-they really work! They supply oxygen to your skin and smoothens fine lines.
What defines your personal style?
I never leave home without my favourite killer pair of heels. I have approximately 200 pairs of shoes and I love each one of them. My favourite brands of shoes are Christian Louboutin and Roger Vivier. For outfits, I prefer Valentino, Chanel, Wendell Rodricks, and Mandira Wirk. I know my shape well so I prefer my outfits accordingly.
What is more important for you- Being stylish or being fashionable?
Being stylish, absolutely! Swearing on trends is great but for me, what I pick for myself is more important because not everything may suit me and my body type. So, dressing according to your style and comfort is always a clever option. It will also make you fashionable as well.
How did the idea of joining theclosetlabel.com come to your mind?
I have always dreamt of having my own clothing label. When The Label Corp came to me with the proposal of theclosetlabel.com, an online store that dedicated to leisure and every day wear, I immediately grabbed the opportunity! It is delightful to be able to help women across the country dress naturally stylish for every day occasion.
What are the 5 essentials that one should have in her closet?
A little black dress, a pair of killer heels, a stylish neckpiece, a pair of blue denims (perfectly fitted) and a classic white shirt.
Apart from you, who do you think can represent your label best?
I think both Karisma & Kareena are exceptionally stylish and of course, my sister Amrita!
How did you manage to maintain a balance between your house, kids and work?
Well, I do films whenever I get time but I am not regular to it. For me, my kids come first. They are my priority and yes as of now I am busy in looking some production work but I’ll manage it somehow. But it is quite difficult when you start handling so many things at the same time.
